Brock the frog brought his bright green tricycle to the creek. He wanted to try a tricky new jump over the bridge.
"Brock!" cried Grace the crab. "Are you really going to try that trick?"
Brock grinned. "Yes! I'll be the first frog to cross this bridge with three front flips!"
Drew the dragonfly dropped down from a tree branch. "That sounds crazy, Brock!"
But Brock was brave. He practiced every trick he knew. He could do front flips, spin in circles, and even ride with no hands!
"Watch this!" Brock called. He pedaled his tricycle up the trail to the bridge.
Grace and Drew gripped each other's claws and wings. They were afraid to watch but couldn't look away.
Brock rode faster and faster! The tricycle wheels crunched over gravel. The bridge was getting closer!
"Here I go!" Brock shouted.
Just then, a cricket crossed the path! Brock tried to brake but crashed into a brush pile!
CRASH! CRUNCH! CRACKLE!
Grace and Drew ran to help. They found Brock stuck in a bramble bush, his tricycle broken in three parts.
"Are you hurt?" Grace asked.
Brock had scratches on his green skin, but he was smiling!
"That was the best crash ever!" he croaked. "Did you see how high I flew?"
Drew laughed. "You didn't cross the bridge, but you definitely did three front flips!"
They all helped fix Brock's tricycle. They used tree sap, strong grass, and dried mud.
When it was fixed, it looked strange but worked even better!
"Now I can try an even trickier trick!" said Brock.
Grace and Drew groaned. Not again!
